Consultative Support
All businesses have a need for IT support; a lot of companies have a very capable in house delivered IT service. As IT infrastructure and technology becomes more diverse we have found that there is a need to supplement in house resource with some specialist support.
We can provide product specialists in a wide range of software technologies across the Microsoft stack, VMware, Citrix and hardware specific areas such as SAN, Cisco or Blade technology. All IT departments have a limit of their knowledge and experience, it is not uncommon for a support person to have not seen a particular problem before. This is where we can provide a service to supplement this. You do not need an expert in every technology you utilise, you can control your costs by using our consultants as a 4th line service.
We can provide this support in a couple of flavours, the first being on an Ad-Hoc basis when you hit a crisis and are charged on a time and materials basis. Although some customers prefer this format of support it is more usual after the first incident for customers to move on to our other flavour which is our retainer support service. This is where a set number of days are pre-purchased and called off by you as needed with pre-defined service levels and a single point of contact service desk.
